Shipping & Delivery Policy

Important Notice: SkyShilp Construction India Private Limited is a service-based company primarily engaged in civil engineering, infrastructure construction, and professional consultancy. We do not operate as a product retailer or e-commerce business. This policy explains how our service deliverables, documentation, and project outputs are communicated and delivered to clients.

1. Nature of Our Business – No Physical Product Shipping

SkyShilp Construction India Private Limited does not engage in the sale or delivery of physical goods, consumer products, or merchandise through its website. The company's primary offerings are:

  • Civil engineering and infrastructure construction services executed at project sites in Assam and Northeast India.
  • Engineering consultancy, feasibility studies, and technical advisory services.
  • Project management and construction supervision services.
  • Design and drawing services rendered as digital or hard-copy documentation.

Accordingly, conventional "shipping" of physical retail products as typically understood in e-commerce contexts does not apply to the Company's operations.

2. Digital Consultation Delivery

When clients engage SkyShilp for consultancy, advisory, or remote professional services:

2.1 Initial Response

  • Inquiry acknowledgment: Within 24 hours of submission via website contact form, email, or WhatsApp during business hours.
  • Consultation scheduling confirmation: Within 1–2 working days of inquiry receipt.
  • Online/telephonic consultation: Conducted at mutually agreed date and time, typically within 3–7 working days of booking.

2.2 Digital Deliverables

  • Preliminary project assessment or feasibility note: Within 3–7 working days of completing site information review.
  • Engineering drawings (digital format – PDF/DWG): Within 7–21 working days depending on project complexity and scope.
  • Project cost estimates and BOQ: Within 5–10 working days after scope finalization.
  • Technical reports and feasibility studies: Within 10–30 working days depending on scope.
  • As-built drawings and completion documentation: Delivered within 15–30 days after physical work completion.

Digital deliverables are transmitted via email, WhatsApp, or a secure file-sharing link as preferred by the client.

3. Documentation Delivery (Hard Copy)

Where clients require hard-copy documentation (formal reports, stamped drawings, NOC letters, compliance certificates):

  • Documents are dispatched via registered courier/speed post to the client's registered address within India.
  • Courier dispatch timeline: Within 3–5 working days of document preparation completion.
  • Estimated courier transit time: 3–7 working days depending on destination (within Assam: 2–4 days; other Indian states: 4–7 days).
  • Courier charges: Borne by SkyShilp for standard dispatch within Assam. For inter-state delivery, courier charges will be invoiced to the client or deducted from retainer fees as applicable.
  • Express/priority courier: Available at additional cost upon client's request.

SkyShilp is not responsible for delays caused by the courier service provider once the documents have been dispatched. Tracking information will be shared with clients upon dispatch.

4. Construction Service Execution Schedule

Physical construction services are executed at designated project sites per agreed timelines in the service contract. General scheduling guidelines:

4.1 Site Mobilization

  • Standard mobilization period: 7–21 working days from contract signing, advance receipt, and site handover, depending on project scale.
  • Emergency/urgent works: Mobilization within 48–72 hours upon advance payment and site access provision (applicable for breach repairs, emergency flood works).

4.2 Project Execution Timelines

  • Timelines are specified in individual work orders and contracts.
  • Progress is monitored against milestones with periodic client updates.
  • Timeline extensions may be granted for force majeure events, adverse weather conditions, site access restrictions, or client-initiated scope changes.

4.3 Project Completion and Handover

  • Work completion is certified through a joint inspection by SkyShilp's team and the client (or their designated engineer/representative).
  • Completion certificate and as-built documentation are issued within 15 working days of physical work completion and joint inspection.

5. Geographical Service Area

SkyShilp Construction India Private Limited primarily operates within:

  • Primary Service Area: Assam and Northeast India (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Sikkim)
  • Extended Service Area: Other states in India, subject to project feasibility assessment, regulatory compliance, and availability of skilled workforce in the region.

Digital consultancy services are available pan-India and internationally for Indian infrastructure projects.

6. No International Shipping

SkyShilp does not ship physical products internationally. Our physical construction services are exclusively available within India. Digital consultancy deliverables (reports, drawings, documents) may be shared digitally with clients located internationally for India-based projects.

7. Delivery Tracking and Communication

Clients will be kept informed of service progress through:

  • Regular progress reports (weekly or monthly, as agreed in contract).
  • Photographic documentation of construction progress.
  • Direct communication via designated project manager.
  • Courier tracking details for dispatched hard-copy documents.
